2024 Sales Tax Holidays

States use sales tax holidays as a way to attract shoppers and stimulate the economy, as well as encourage consumer behaviors such as disaster preparedness or using energy efficient appliances.

For e-commerce sellers, that means knowing about and understanding the parameters of sales tax holidays in all of your nexus states and making sure you comply.

2024 Sales Tax Holidays: States & Dates

It’s important to note that some states have on-going annual sales tax holidays that change very little. Other states are required to renew their sales tax holidays periodically, as often as every year, so this list may be changed or updated as holiday dates draw near.

We’ll keep it updated so you always know when to prepare for a sales tax holiday.
